Maryborough -– less than 300km from Brisbane offers the charm of a smaller town but the services of a city. As a major service centre, Maryborough has a range of government and commercial services and both a private and public hospital. It has exceptional educational services with 14 state and private schools and a TAFE college.  The University of Southern Queensland’s Fraser Coast campus is 35km away at Hervey Bay.
